$$$

Um. So by the end of this summer, I will be broke.

I will be spending money in England, and then spending more money here in Canada when my cousin comes back with me. This money will be both mine and my parents’, but I feel guilty a lot so it’ll probably be mostly mine.

Today, we bought tickets to see BSB in September. *ahem* U2 is a week later. But, my cousin really wanted to go. He’s never been to a concert and when I mentioned it, he got excited… plus I’m leaving him at home for U2, so I feel bad. And hey, at least these tickets are somewhat cheaper… I paid twice as much for dear-old U2.

(yes, Vomiz-ali, you and I are crazy).

So…. I’m planning to go on an Anfield tour and visit the museum, and the club store (where I will spend money buying my brother and I jerseys). I also want to see a match…

I will also be shopping at other places, paying for admission for sight-seeing stuff… and I kinda want to go see a show on London’s West End.

Bye bye money. Nice knowing you.

Ultimately I want to make the most of this trip though and so… *pauses*

You know what, I think I should go now and start looking for a job for September (lol)… bye bye.

summer breeze

So I’m currently taking this “introduction to digital imaging and website design” course (which actually ends this week) and I’ve been working on my final project all week.

This course has made me miss my old website-crazy days… so look out for a new layout soon. Once I finish with this darn site (my project), I will whip up something nice for this site because it’s been a while.

Plus it’s summer, and I feel like writing more. *smiles*

We’ll see what happens because I have a lot to talk about these days…

ain’t it funny?

So, all but one of my friends left town for the day. And that one friend has an exam tomorrow.

So it’s been just us two, but with moments of me being alone so she can study.

I started my second course today and it should be interesting. I did some work today on both courses (read and studied a bit).

I also went and picked up movies. In between movies, I made dinner on the bbq and sat outside to eat and read my textbook….

I watched Collateral, which I think was great.

And I just finished watching Garden State. The movie isn’t amazing or anything, but something about it really hit me, so I like it. Some funny moments, but quite simple on the whole. Like I said, it just touched me somewhere and I like it….

Quotes:

Andrew Largeman: You know that point in your life when you realize that the house that you grew up in isn’t really your home anymore? All of the sudden even though you have some place where you can put your stuff that idea of home is gone.
Sam: I still feel at home in my house.
Andrew Largeman: You’ll see when you move out it just sort of happens one day one day and it’s just gone. And you can never get it back. It’s like you get homesick for a place that doesn’t exist. I mean it’s like this rite of passage, you know. You won’t have this feeling again until you create a new idea of home for yourself, you know, for you kids, for the family you start, it’s like a cycle or something. I miss the idea of it. Maybe that’s all family really is. A group of people who miss the same imaginary place.

Sam: If you can’t laugh at yourself, life’s gonna seem a whole lot longer than you like.

Sam: That’s life. If nothing else, its life. It’s real, and sometimes it fuckin’ hurts, but it’s sort of all we have.
