(in advance: this is a useless post)

I’m just posting to say I’m alive. I’ve been at the family house for the past week and will be returning to London (Ontario) on Saturday.

There have been so many things I’ve wanted to post about, but laziness has stopped me.

Maybe in the next week or so I’ll get some energy and motivation to write…

Hey, at least I’m being honest…..

shorty wanna be a thug? no… shorty wanna dance

*insert really-drawn-out-tired-and-hurt sigh*

I have an exam tomorrow, and one more on Saturday. Then I will finally be done. Until then, I feel like crawling on the floor, grabbing onto someone’s legs, and crying.

(and whining)

The past few days I’ve been up studying for hours on end (well I get up really early, 6:30-7:00am, and then study all day until 10pm…), and it’s crazy because I usually don’t study this much. And I’m reaching my limit….

I shouldn’t complain because I know all of you out there go through this as well and we all equally agree that studying can make you want to rip your eyes out and/or hit your head against the wall several times.

And then do it all over again a few more times for good measure.

Anyway, the good news is that in two days I will be done my second year of university. And summer will finally be here! I will be heading home for a week to spend time with the family and my friends back home, as well as go crazy shopping. I’ve wanted to go shopping for months, but always have had to say no because of school work. (blech)

And then, I’ll come back and will have a lot of fun with my friends here. We have a lot of things planned for the summer and so I’m really excited.

Yay.

I’m planning on making a memories video for this year (and maybe last year because the one I started last year got deleted when my computer died) and I’m excited about that too…. everyone actually is because I’m in the process of doing interviews with everyone about their favourite moments, jokes, etc. And it’s hilarious :D

Anyway I should return to studying… expect some interesting (or at least, more substance-filled) entries in the future once exams are over….

interesting words….

A portion of the text from Bono’s front gates:

In the service of God one can learn three things from a child and seven from a thief.

From a child one can learn
1) always be happy
2) never to sit idle
3) and cry for everything one wants.

From a thief you should learn
1) to work at night
2) if one cannot gain it in one night to try again the next night
3) to love one’s co-workers just as thieves love each other
4) to be willing to risk one’s life even for a little thing
5) not to attach too much value to things even though you’ve risked your life for them just as a thief will resell a stolen article for a fraction of its worth
6) to withstand all kinds of beatings and tortures but to remain what you are and
7) to believe that your work is worthwhile and not be willing to change it.

only one thing you can do these days

study.

*shudders*

(note: I’ve been meaning to change my pictures on the right there, but my photoshop messed up and so I’m going to have to re-install. Then I’ll be able to change them….)

simple wish

So as I’ve woken up early (yet again) to edit my essay…I’ve decided to post while I drink my lovely orange juice. hah.

Yeah, I’m almost done the one essay, I’ll hand it in at 9am, and then I only have one more to go.

Anyway, despite the fact that I really feel “essayed” out now… and because of that I want to hit my head against a wall numerous times….

This makes my day:

Owen hints at return to Liverpool

My brother and I had been discussing (somewhat jokingly) how it’d be great if we got Michael Owen back (just like what happened with Ian Rush…) and if we got Beckham since he wants to leave Real Madrid, and Man Utd. don’t want him… Anyhoo, if MO returned, I’d be on top of the world!

This makes me laugh:

Valencia reveal interest in Baros

Yeah, no. Rafa isn’t going to sell Baros. Moving on…

and all i can do is try…

I’m not too happy about having two essays left and not being able to study for exams yet. My first exam is next Friday and I don’t have any time to start on it.

And it’s not my fault for leaving these essays to the last minute because I had, literally, six big assignments/essays due over the past three weeks.

I’m also not very enthusiastic about the stress that is only going to get worse as the next two weeks go on (studying for four exams in the two weeks that they take place in….uggh), as well as having to deal with everyone else’s stress….

Some people just don’t remember that everyone else is just as, or even more so, stressed as they are. Gah. And it’s hard not to get overwhelmed by everything…school issues and personal issues….

I’ve already cried once….*sigh*

Besides that… I’m planning on going home (aka Whitby) from the 23rd/24th until the 28th/29th…. and by that, I mean I’ll probably be in Markham for most of that time. Therefore, all of you people from there will probably be done exams by then, so we’re hanging out. You all better be free.

Also, I’m really considering asking my parents to send me to England for at least a week (maybe two) this summer… probably in August after my summer school ends. I’d be staying with my cousins and I probably won’t have as much freedom as I would if I went with just friends, but it’s better than nothing. And it’s also a great starting point to work up from. Big bonus? It saves me a lot of money….

I’m actually talking to my cousin on msn right now as I write this… and we’re thinking about doing a double event, where he’d come here for a bit, and then I’d travel back with him to England. Which would help my case because then I wouldn’t be traveling alone.

Hmmmm….
